"bass to lower" mit HX3-Expander an XK3c

Hallo,

da ich 10 Wochen " in Pause" war, und nicht alle neuen Entwicklungen verfolgen konnte, hier meine Frage:

Ich habe den HX3-Expander mk3, jetzt updated auf 3.822 - möchte ich gerne in den unteren beiden Oktaven des Untermanuals den Fußbass dazu schalten. Hab ich gemacht, indem ich die entsprechende Funktion am Expander ausgewählt habe und die beiden Zugriegel bedient habe....nur leider kommt da nix.

M.Bass und Split an der XK3c habe ich auch mal versuchsweise gedrückt, ohne Erfolg.
Unter Midi stehen für upper =1, lower=2, Pedl=3.
Bei den Zonen steht für die untere Zone XL1: Ch=2, und der Bereich ist von Lo=1 bis Hi=6C.
Muß für das Basspedal im unteren Manual eine weitere Zone (XL2) aktiviert werden?

Bin da im Augenblick etwas ratlos -:(

Here we seem to have more special XK-3 midi behaviour but it does actually work in the end.

Firstly the two switches on the XK3, Manual Bass and Split (I'm guessing that the XK3c uses the same), send on/off as two separate 'pushes' of the buttons. Secondly, to set the split-point you have to be holding down the required key (probably C#3 as the HX3 bass-pedal notes can't go higher than this) as you then press the 'Split' button. What I discovered is that from then on you can't be playing any keys when you push the button again otherwise the split-point is reset to whatever note it saw as you pressed it!

However, this is no big deal. Once the split-point is working ok pressing 'Manual Bass' adds the pedals to the lower manual as expected, pressing 'Split' leaves only the pedal sound on the bottom two octaves. Just be sure not to be playing any keys when selecting what you want these switches to do! If you pull out, say, the 1' drawbar on the lower manual while you are experimenting you can hear more clearly what is added/removed when operating the switches.

It's a bit confusing but the problem is with the way the XK3 operates. Still, I have it working fine and it remembers the settings through a restart.
