Expander Midi Thru

I seem to get no midi thru from the Expander (Mk3 v3.801). The setup is:

Keyboard (XK-3) to 'Midi In' - midi received, no problem
Midi interface (Midimate) from Midi In/Out to Macbook - Macbook recognises the interface
Expander Midi Option set to 'ReceiveThru'

However, no midi info is passed through. Am I missing something or Is this not actually implemented yet?
