...that someone wrote a version of the HX3 remote software for iPad. I wish I was clever enough!
Solved my own 'problem' by buying a Surface Pro 4 to use instead of my Macbook!
I now use it to run Cantabile 3 with my XK3/HX3 setup (replacing Mainstage) and because it runs a full version of Windows 10, the HX3 editor naturally works fine (previously I had to use VM Fusion for the editor but this is much less convenient for a couple of quick settings changes/experimenting before a gig).
