DC Jack - power flickering

Hi,
I am a new proud owner of the HX3 Expander. I purchased the indicated US-based power supply (5.5/2.1, 9 Volts DC, 1Amp, with positive on center). When I plug in the HX3, it powers up correctly but if I move the HX3 in any way, the power flickers on and off. I have tried another different brand power supply with the same specs and it is even worst.
Has anyone had such issues?
Thank you, Luis.

hi
Perhaps the hole for the center pin in Your connecting cable doesn´t match with the connector pin on HX3 Expander.
Try the correct corresponding plug. Ususally such Power sets contain several ones...

Thank you, happyfreddy.
I am using the correct 5.5/2.1 mm plug as indicated in the manual specifications. Both power supplies I have are exactly the same spec bur different brands. I'll try yet another brand. Glad it doesn't seem to be a common issue. If it persists I'll contact Carsten. I fear it could be the HX3 board and how the power supply receiver/connector is soldered to the circuit board.
Thank you, Luis.

hi
Carsten is still in medical REHA hospital without any possibility to search for that problem.
So first try Yourself to find out the reason :
1) Try to move the power plug coming from extern power supply and parallel hold the boardplug in it´s position by hand so that the board DC plug can´t move
If there is any fickering when moving the cable plug or even the cable thats the reason
2) Try to move only the DC board plug. If then there is a flickering, it´s the soldering of DC plug on HX 3 main board
