I have a Mk3 Expander but I think the procedure must be the same:

in the Editor you must first load the file hx3_organ_defaults.csv (save your previous settings, of course) then the new Scanner Gearing is shown in the Editor. There is no function on the Expander itself yet. The default is 60, I think, and I changed mine to 48 which I prefer (lower numbers increase the speed, or frequency, of the scanner). Once the Editor is changed you can reload your previous settings if you wish.

Hope this helps,

Paul

After upgrading to 3.851 everything else is fine but I noticed this phenomenon: when expression pedal (Hammond Suzuki V-20R) is plugged straight into HX3 "Swell" I get an *extra scratching sound* when swelling. Same pedal plugged via midi (GSi DMC-122/FC1) works without scratching.

Hi,
The favorite swell pedal for HX 3 is a Yamaha FC 7 Swell pedal, which contains a normal poti connected via stereo jack
Tip of Swell jack is connected to + 3,3volt other end to GND = shaft, the slider of that poti is connected to the ring of jack.

If You use any other swell pedal be shure of same connection - otherwise You have problems
