Hi,
I use two Fatar TP8O keyboards connected to HX3 MKII through Fatarscan2. I would like to replicate the behaviour of the last Mojo keybed. When velocity is disabled the sound starts when the key is depressed by only 2-3 mm (upper bubble contact, note on-off). Is it possible to obtain the same behaviour with HX3+Fatarscan2 by appropriate settings ? And, what happens with the keyclick without velocity information (I remember that velocity is fixed in this case to 64) ?
Of course, midi out should always send velocity information. Is it possible ?
Thanks a lot
Best Regards
Angelo

Re: Keybed responsivity
MIDI OUT sends the dynamic bytes from FATAR Keyboard in any way so with no drawbar sound of HX 3 You also can
play piano with extern connected piano expander.
The keyclick will also happen if You connect SCAN 4014 Inline boards or normal Scanboards instead of FATAR scanboard.
The default value 64 is therefore the same as at SCAN 4014 boards etc because HX 3 simulates a Hammond which has
no dynamic keys

Re: Keybed responsivity
I also have those midi velocity problems. ( firmware version 3.924 )
All the velocity steps seem to be compressed at the lower end of the velocity curve.
By doing this, it's unusable .
You can't play with a dynamic attack.
It seems Carsten promised already in 2013 ( see forum user Harald ) to solve this problem ,
but at his time, there are still no results . Do you know anything about this problem ?
I saw a post from that guy "Harald" , who made a subsystem with an ATMEGA processor to correct the velocity curve.
This is not the normal way to resolve this problem, i think.
The midi out works but without any usable velocity control.
Is there something that we can change or update by ourself ?

Re: Keybed responsivity
Has been solved with FATAR ScanCore #25.
