XK3 Midi CC Set :Reset von Pedal Zugriegeln bei preset wechseln

Soweit ich weiß ist das ein Problem seitens Hammond und der MIdi Implementation der CC Sets.
DAs Thema urde hier im Forum schonmal angeschnitten.

Die Basspedal-Zugriegel werden zusammen mit dem Untermanual abgespeichert, auch auf Live-Preset 0. Bei Preset 0 gibt es die Besonderheit, dass zwischenzeitlich geänderte Werte temporär zwischengespeichert werden, so dass man auch ohne Abspeichern beim Wechsel von 1..15 auf 0 wieder die vorherigen Werte erhält.

Sind evt. in Preset 0 die Bass-ZR auf 0? Dann geht es auch dahin zurück, wenn man an den XK3-Bass-ZR nichts geändert hat und man wieder zurück auf 0 wechselt.

Oder funktionieren die Bass-ZR der XK3 nach Preset-Wechsel auf 0 nicht mehr? Sollten sie eigentlich...

I also use the XK3. As Carsten says, the lower presets (including 0) should be set to include the desired pedal settings, then saved. On the XK3 you should unlink the manuals (see your XK3 use manual for this, or just search the menus on the XK3) to prevent any change on the upper presets affecting the lower presets.

However, it is still the case that moving the bass-pedal drawbars on the XK3 will result in a return to zero. The XK3 uses its own peculiar midi parameters and this is a bug still to be fixed, if possible, on the HX3 midi set for the XK3. I think other priorities and ill health have prevented a solution up to now, but hopefully this will be fixed in the future.

My bass-pedal setting on all the presets, including preset 0, now stay set - just remember not to move the pedal drawbars! If you haven't already tried this, change the midi channel for the XK3 bass pedals to Ch2 (instead of Ch3) and the lower manual will sound on the pedals. This is actually a much better sound than the original Hammond pedal sound, though there is no sustain, of course.

The missing drawbar action on Hammond XK3 and other MIDI CC sets will be fixed with firmware 3.822, which will be released on July 10th. This should also fix the preset pedal drawbar issue.

I'm posting back here as I don't want to hijack the Firmware upgrade topic with more bass-pedal preset stuff!

On my XK-3 all the lower presets retain the pedal settings, once stored, except Preset 0 (the 'B' key). Pressing this will zero the setting on pedal drawbar 16', though the other presets are not affected. Strange, but it's easy enough (until this is fixed) to avoid using that key as it doesn't affect using the lower manual drawbars. Whenever switching on for the first time the Preset 0 bass settings are also back to zero, but the other presets are not.

Don't forget to unlink the XK-3 manuals.
